CLEforlive23. I hope this trade is a joke. AND is your name supposed to be cleforLIFE? Anyway, if you're being serious about this trade let's consider some things.

First, Price is a FA at years end and the Rockies are 11.5 GB of 1st and just traded their star away in Tulo. So they're going to trade CarGo and Reyes for a pitcher that could only help them win this year when they're out of it? On top of that not receive any prospects in return?

Second, you thik all CLE has to give up for Cargo is a #5 starter, a bullpen guy and a platoon OF? Every team would line up for that price.

Third, DET trades away Price arguably the best arm available for Reyes who will make $22 million each of the next two seasons given they wouldn't pay Price or Scherzer a little more than that amount?

I know you want to see your team win, but be realistic man. This would never happen. At least post something that would make sense.

I understand that Dombroski said they are buyers. but the way they have been playing says they should be sellers. And how exactly are they going to add the pieces they need. Their farm system is in the bottom 5 in the majors. They would have to be very very creative.
