Just a random thought,

Braves trade: SP Julio Teheran, OF Nick Markakis

Rangers Trade: Joey Gallo, Josh Hamilton

Seems like an idea since the Braves are willing to eat Humongous salaries Josh Hamilton just isn't living up to his contract and is now hurt again. The braves might also squeeze a draft pick out of this one.

This is so horrible. Who in their right mind would want Josh Hamilton? More would be need for Atlanta.

Well if you read what I said they don't actually need to play him the braces have stated that they are willing to eat bad contracts such as josh hamiltons to receive draft picks.

Ok, gbetts you do know the only draft picks that are tradeable are the competitive balance picks right. And yes the Braves are willing to take on bad contracts to hopefully get a teams competitive balance pick. However the Rangers do not have one. So the Braves will not be able to squeeze a draft pick out of this.
