I read the Dodgers and Reds are looking into a Jay Bruce trade that will involve Puig going to a 3rd team. I would like the Tigers to be that 3rd team.

Tigers gets:
(cin) RP JJ Hoover + RP Ian Kahaloa (#23)
(lad) OF Yasiel Puig

Reds gets:
(lad) SP Yadier Alvarez (#9) + RP Jacob Rhame (#23) + IF Willie Calhoun (#6)
(det) SP Mike Pelfrey + OF Steven Moya

Dodgers gets:
(det) SP Anibal Sanchez + RP Jario Labourt (#13) + 3B Zach Sheppard (#18)
(cin) OF Jay Bruce

Tigers do this to get a power bat and power arm back into the OF and he can play CF and split time with Maybin and they also get Hoover who is having a down year but can be helpful as a RP depth and Kahaloa can be helpful in the future

Reds do this to get 4 young prospect for the future and Alvarez can be as high as #2 SP for the Reds, Rhame can be a setup in the future with spot closing chances and Calhoun potentially can be Phillips replacement with Peraza being more of a SS since Cozart should be gone soon and adding moya as a Bruce replacement and Pelfrey (whos from Ohio) can be plugged into the rotation and can be depth since this year, they aren't going anywhere.

Dodgers do this to add Bruce. They also get a bad contract (this year at least) for another bad contract in Puig so that works out since Ryu and Kershaw are hrt and a change of scenary may help Sanchez and adding Labourt can help and be a future starter or a current reliever and Sheppard is a good fielding prospect who can be up next year at some point and is added to offset just getting Sanchez.

Who does better in this trade?

cookie you are obviously a Tigers fan, a blind and biased one for that matter. Their farm system is weak. The Dodgers could get better for Puig. Pelfrey and Moya wouldn't bring 3 top prospects back. They really don't have a shot at Bruce.

Plus if I am the Tigers in no way shape or form would I consider trading Moya.

Why would the rebuilding reds give up a you protect? He may not be a great prospect but the reds wouldn't trade prospects.

Puig could get more but right now, i bet the Dodgers, after getting Reddick, would take a little less than usual if the opposing team would take him

jj hoover is having a bad year, his value is down big time, so that would be the reason why i had added a prospect going with hoover

but i guess i can see where you guys are coming from. lol.
