Yankees get: Yonder Alonso
A's get: Ben Heller, Ji-Man Choi, Kyle Higashioka


Yankees get: David Robertson
White Sox get: Ronald Herrera, Bryan Mitchell, Miguel Andujar


Pick up Bartolo Colon (I think he can be fixed by Larry Rothschild)


Yankees get: JA Happ
Blue Jays get: Tyler Webb, Luis Cessa

You do realize that in order to get really good roster upgrades, the Yankees will have to give up really good talent, right?

I'll let you in on the secret: none of these trades are remotely close to fair for the other team.

These are all horrible. Alonso could bring back a better package. Robertson could as well, but I don't think the Yankees would think about bringing him back. I don't know if you posted this before or after Colon signed with the Twins, but I don't think it would have been a good idea, if he was getting smashed in Atlanta, he would be clobbered in New York. I doubt the Yankees make a trade with the Blue Jays, and Chris Carter was DFA'd before you posted this.

DFA'd and released are two different concepts.
