That'd be a hard pass from Arizona.

Peralta still has 2 years of arbitration. He won't cost his team more than about 6-7 mil this winter, and is coming off a monster season (30 HR, 130 wRC+, 3.8 WAR)

White Sox will need to pony up a lot more than Rutherford.

Maybe this was light, but I don't think we're talking "a lot more" than Rutherford and Lambert.

I think Rutherford is nearing Clint Frazier territory. He's a guy whose name is bigger than his talent. Many scouts have soured on him it seems.
