What if Stanton and the Marlins can't come to a deal? What's next for the Marlins? Where does Stanton land?

I can't believe I am saying this but I believe the Mets can out spend the Red Sox for him.

Red Sox don't need outfielders. To just acquire Stanton they would have to trade several outfielders in the process. As for the Mets I really don't see the Marlins trading Stanton in the Division. Yes they have done it in the past but I doubt it this time.

I think the Dodgers would be a viable option. LA has lots of minor league talent, and Stanton is from Cali.

^yes but they, like the Red Sox have plenty of outfielders and would have to make several trades just to free up a space for him.
