With this roster, the Cubs will compete. I think they will make a push for the playoffs if the young hitters hit and play defense and the young pitchers repeat their performance from last year. They will continue to add pieces this and next year too.

Where, I've been watching MLB Network for most of the winter meetings and there have been zero reports of that.

Harper is filing a grievance against the Nationals so he can supersede the major league contract, he signed when he was drafted, and gain the right to go to arbitration where he would be able to make more money. People feel it has caused a rift between Harper and the Nationals, that could lead to a trade.
