To be clear, Harrison is one of the best LHP prospects in baseball. To get him, the Mets would need to give up Pete Alonso plus MULTIPLE prospects.
You're not getting him for two rental players plus a mediocre prospect.

Dude an established major league player like Alonso is far more valuable than a prospect. They have been many highly touted prospects that don't work out.

Look, I'm not going to accuse the guy who thought that Pham + Carrasco for Kyle Harrison was a good idea of knowing what they are talking about. but I'll help explain.
The Giants were going to take Harrison in the first round. Instead, they got him in the third (as a compensation pick for Bumgarner going to Arizona) . They've put high value on Bay Area and NorCal guys, and Harrison is from Concord.
To give up their top prospect, who is almost league ready (might even have been up post-ASG if it weren't for an injury) and is from the Bay Area? It's going to take one of the best players in baseball and more.
Point is: you're not getting Harrison, and you're certainly not getting him for Pham & Carrasco LMAOOOO.
