White Sox are rumored to be willing to trade for a piece early in the year. The Braves definitely have considered trading Teheran regardless of what the media says.

Here's my proposal: let me know why it would work and wouldn't work for each team

Braves:
Lewis Brinson from Rangers (#2 in Rangers prospects)
Jake Peter from White Sox (#19 White Sox prospect)

White Sox:
Julio Teheran from Braves
Adonis Garcia from Braves

Rangers:
Arodys Vizcaino from Braves
Kelly Johnson from Braves
Carson Fulmer from White Sox (#1 White Sox prospect)
Trey Michalczewski from White Sox (#5 White Sox prospect)

Braves aren't trading Tehran.

This is terrible. The Braves could get more and better prospects from a team with a good farm system. I don't get why more is going to Texas than Atlanta. Bad for the Braves, good for the White Sox, and a steal for the Rangers.

No where near enough for Teheran.

And why would the Rangers do this?

Hey Jerk, I could see this happening. The Rangers have not had too much consistency out of the closer spot and Vizcaino can come out of the 'pen and throw in the high 90's. Also, with Odor on the verge of an 8 game suspention, Johnson can play second until Odor comes back. Then Kelley can be a huge guy off the bench for Texas.

Nobody trades for a piece in light of an 8-game suspension.

Also, the Rangers have tons of infield depth and outfield depth. They don't need Johnson.

The Rangers have Matt Bush, Jake Diekman, and Sam Dyson which all three are very capable at closing and each throw 96-101 consistently.
