I wonder if the Ynakees have thought about this yet.

2017 lineup:
1. Gardner LF
2. Elsbury CF
3. Sanchez C
4. McCann 1st/ Dah
5. Judge RF
6. Castro 2nd

8. Austin/ Bird DH/ 1st
9. Gregorious SS

Bench:
1. Romine C
2. Bird 1st/ DH/ Austin 1st/ 3rd/ DH
3. Refsnider UTL

Rotation:
1. Tanaka
2. Pinada
3. Paxton
4. Siverino
5. Green/ Cessa

Bullpen:
1. Warren
2. Yates
3. Parker

5. Heller

They don't need to move on from McCann if they don't want too, just move him over to first (where he has played before) or they could even DH and have the platoon of Bird and Austin play 1st. And they should make a small trade to get Paxton to be their lefty starter since I don't see them bringing C. C back. And it would only take a mid teir prospect to get him and that should be do able given how the Yankees restocked their farm system at the trade deadline.

What do you guys think?

I'm sure they have thought about it, but I believe McCann will be trade, and I think Pineda, Sabathia, Gardner, and possibly Headley will also be traded. And next I didn't know they had a pitcher named Paxton. Care to explain that one sull?

I said they should trade for him. Can't you read? I see them getting him to be their lefty in the rotation since C. C probably won't be back.
