Pirates get hosed in that deal, IMO. You need to quit dreaming, ChiSox. Your team made out like bandits for Sale and especially Eaton, but you won't get all that for Quintana and Robertson.

Lmfaoo there is no way Quintana is worth both Frazier and Torres. Yes Quintana is a great pitcher but he's not an ACE! . I hate that all these white sox think because the swindled the Nationals for Eaton that they can do it to everyone else. Not every team is as desperate as the Nationals were to make a trade.

Victor - That's fine. The Yanks have 1 good SP who is injury prone. If they want to finish 4th or 5th in the AL East and get blown out by BOS, they can suit themselves.

@Red Sox Guy - The WSox are also giving up Jones and Fraizer in this trade. There's a 0% chance of this happening, but the money and players make sense. The pirates get rid of the McCutchen headache to free up Meadows, they get a corner INF that they really need, and they get a lockdown 8th inning guy. Plus they add good prospects in Rutherford and Fowler, plus Green who could help their rotation this year.

I still don't think that Quintana and Robertson are worth Frazier and Torres, if that was the case the Yankees would've pulled the trigger if they thought that was a fair trade. You are a White Sox fan and think that your players are worth all the prospects in the world. But in reality you guys robbed Washington and think you guys are going to get the same for Quintana. Not going to happen! . I do think you guys could've asked the Red Sox for me for Sale though. So I guess the Washington Trade made up for the lightness in the Sale trade.

Really the fact of the matter is we have ultra valuable trade assets. With the market, Eaton was worth what we got. There was no one else with speed, power, defense like him that could bat leadoff. With Q, yes will should get a HUGE return bc there is no one else available that is remotely close to Q. A team will cough up 4 top prospects bc they want to win this year. Give Q run support, and he is easily a top 10 pitcher. The numbers don't lie.
