My realistic and hopeful Redsoxs offseason
Free Agent Signings:
David Price 6/200m
For the main reasons that I don't trust Hanley at first sign Chris Davis in case we need a 1st baseman 5 years not sure the amount
And hopefully another pitcher to add to the rotation

Lineup opening day :
CF Betts
SS Bogaerts
1B Hanley Ramirez
DH Big Papi
RF Chris Davis
2B DP
3B Sandoval
C Vasquez
LF Castillo/ Holt

SP
Price
Maybe Jose Fernandez in a trade like one of the guys said below for Moncada Castillo and E Rodriquez
Porcello
Bucholz
Owens

RP and CP
Tazawa
Ogando
Ross
Uehara
Kimbrel

Let me know what u guys think , and if u agree or disagree

I am a true Sox fan, but I am not jaded enough to believe we will pick up Chris Davis, Jose Fernandez and David Price this offseason.

We have no need for a first baseman we have shaw as a back up and yes I love the idea of price and defiantly not Fernandez or at least not for that price and no need for davis again since we have Bradly Betts and Castillo as our starters across the outfield.

Longtimebaseballfan , I completely agree I don't see it happening but I said possibly Fernandez , I'd prefer Fernandez cause he's younger and hit hits bombs !

^^^You want Fernandez because he hits bombs. he'd be moving to the AL, so it's a moot point.

Crazysull why don't you marry shaw?

Crazysull fair enough but he does still hit 30 plus homers a year , and Natedub tooche . Anybody wanna give me some predictions ?

I really like him, he is young and will have a place on the team for sure after Ortiz retires so I think they just keep him and not waist money on davis.

Sox got to have pitching. If they can get rid of HanRam or Panda, that would be super, but they have to bring in at least one strong SP.

The only realistic part about this is the Price signing. Other than that I can't see Davis going there. And there is no way the Marlins would take that trade for Fernandez right now. GotBeard, how will Fernandez hit bombs while playing in the AL since he is a pitcher.
