If Ian Kennedy is being forced into a package then I find it very difficult to believe that they still would demand Giolito or Urias. The question is will KC be willing to take lesser prospects if it means they can dump Kennedy and his terrible contract. Seems like LA is one of the few teams that could be a fit.

Cleveland doesn't have the cash to take on Ryan Braun regardless of what prospects are involved. I would think Lucroy and Smith should and have been discussed but I think Cleveland has balked at trading Frazier or Zimmer plus they still are high on Gomes and owe him money going forward.

The Tribe can most definitely afford Lucroy. He's owed less than $6 mil next year and the Indians have.

This simply won't happen. The Indians will be extremely hesitant to move Zimmer or Frazier and they just don't have the money to add Bruces contract and option for next year. There's about a 0% chance the Tribe moves one of their top two prospects for a player they can't control at a reasonable price for multiple seasons.

Unless the Pirates are convincingly in a playoff position they are going to move players due for high arbitration raises or that have expiring contracts after this season. Liriano, Melancon, maybe even Niese could be moved for prospects.
