Giants receive: Ben Revere
Phillies Recieve: Ty Blach, Mac Williamson
1.) Phillies fan here and I think we should jump on that. But why would SF want Revere? Seems like wishful thinking.
2.) Guys, Revere is not a good player to trade for. Despite his. 290 average, his OBP is only about 10 points higher, he is a terrible defender, doesn't steal all that many bases, and is the least powerful player in the majors.
3.) The Giants need an upgrade in center field and Ben Revere would certainly be an upgrade over Blanco since Pagan has been out.

Giants Get:
Ben Revere (due to Angel Pagan's inability to stay healthy)
Phillies Get:
Andrew Susac
Ty Blach
1.) Ima phillies and I watch every game revere plays he has a terrible arm 5 year old can throw better dives at every ball and is a slap hitter beware of this guy
2.) The Giants won't give up Susac for a guy who will be a backup outfielder.
3.) Beware of Revere's. 300 average. He doesn't do much else
4.) Revere batting 292 with 280 on base % terrible and it that low because he doesn't know how to take pitches and walk
The Giants need an upgrade in center field and Ben Revere would certainly be an upgrade over Blanco since Pagan has been out.
It's certainly an interesting proposition given that both players have had a drop in performance ( Syndegard had the Injury). It would be even more interesting had both players been playing to their potential and or reached the big leagues.
Castro won't move from shortstop, either he stays there and Russell moves to second or Castro is shipped away for pitching.
