UMMMM, WHY! Would ether team do this? Russell and Beaz are part of the Cubs future for certain and possibly Solar might be as well, and Cabrera is the Tigers best player so why would they trade him away especially when they are getting possitions that they do not need.

Where would Cabrera even play? 1B is Rizzo and 3B is Bryant, two MVP candidates in the NL. And they have no DH spot either.

Detroit is talking about changing its approach to player acquisition and development. So, there might be a chance it trades Miggy Cabrera.

If so, the Cubs would not be on the list of teams interested.
