No way white Sox accept that deal.

Rick Hahn would block the Blue Jays number after such an awful proposal.

Again, Votto WILL NOT waive his no trade clause.

zammer, if a team extends a QO, you know what happens, right? Wait, no, you don't.

Plus, your trade proposals are hilariously one-sided. If you think the Jays could get Votto and Eaton for that, you are sadly mistaken.

The White Sox won't give up Robertson in a salary dump. They could get much better prospects for him than the guys you proposed.

When was the last time the Blue Jays spent over 100 million on a new signing or extension? Vernon Wells in 2006, since then they have not given another out. I keep hearing they have money to spend, but where is it?

They definitely have money to spend. They don't like too, but they have it. I think they have to extend Donaldson. The fans love him.

Why do you say Votto will not waive is no trade clause?
He hasn't actually said either way. Also, I feel that the Reds would scoop up Alford and Reid-Foley, get rid of a lot of salary and say thank you very much Jays. The Reds aren't competing so why would they need Votto.
Zammer, your Eaton/ Robertson trade is rather weak tough. Jays would love Eaton as a leadoff guy but I don't even think they would want Robertson.

Batman, Rogers corporation has more money then they know what to do with,
but they do have a board and shareholders that they have to answer to. So they do have a salary cap every year.
I believe their payroll was north of 140 mil last year and most expect it will rise significantly this year.

The Jays had a policy in place for awhile that no contract would exceed 5 years, that's why you don't see a lot of big contracts signed by players for the Jays. I don't think that policy still exists.

I think Saunders would accept the QO.

I feel Saunders would too and i would mind taking him on for another year even at that price point.

I like the idea of getting Eaton but i knew my trade was weak.

The Votto trade is incredibly complicated with his big contract and no trade clause.

Whats some feedback on the ideas? I think its a good plan for the jays.
