CLE acquires: RF Gregory Polanco.

This deal can't be done. After his drug suspension. Polanco isn't the same guy. You're undervaluing Salazar, Milbrath was selected in the Rule V draft so is not a member of the Indians. There is a deal with the Pirates. but it's not this one sided.

Yes. my bad. Polanco has been remarkably consistent. and average.

Salazar trades being discussed are due to the return of Cody Anderson, the emergence of Mike Clevinger, the growth of Ryan Merritt and Josh Tomlin and the promise of Julian Merryweather. Add these five names to the Kluber / Carrasco / Bauer trio. and starting pitchers are rapidly running out of options. Salazar, having quite a bit of projectable upside, some injury history, and a pretty interesting number of high leverage outings where he's been superb. offer the Indians a trade chip that they may consider cashing in.

We'll see.

I guess this isn't bad. Salazar and Polanco are both inconsistent players with injury histories. Yet, both also have a lot of upside.

Polanco isn't enough for Salazar. The dude's peripherals are off the charts great.

Milbrath is already on the Pirates and they aren't giving up Polanco just yet, not that he was enough to get Salazar anyway.
