The Reds have made horrible trades so far this offseason. These may be a stretch, but they could work.

NYY gets Brandon Phillips in exchange for Luis Severino.

BAL gets Jay Bruce in exchange for Walker and Givens.

Almost impossible one next, but would work.
CLE gets Votto and PTBNL in exchange for Zimmer, Aiken, and Frazier. Reds would also send a small amount of cash.

(Optional) TEX gets Homer Bailey for Jurickson Profar.

SO where is Phillips going to play? They have Gregorious at SS, Castro at 2nd, and Headley at 3rd. And they probably wouldn't trade Severino for him. Also where the heck have you been. Frazier was traded to the White Sox.

my opinion is that votto likes cincy and would be hesitant to go elsewhere. he is from toronto, so to me that might be a possibility.

Agree. Severino is not going any where. Especially for a second basemen that is on the decline.
