Rockies want controllable starting pitching. Neither Santiago nor Wilson fit that bill. Kubitza isn't very good.

I'd imagine Colorado would demand both Heaney and Skaggs in any sort of a trade for their outfielders.

@theJerk Heaney has more value by himself than either any of the Rockies outfielders. Blackmon and Dickerson both have horrible splits which lower their value substantially away for Colorado. And CarGo is owed 37 million over two years and has health issues as well as similar horrible splits away from Colorado. If Heaney is being traded it is going to be in a package for Arrenado.

Heaney for Arenado may be the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time.

The Angels aren't going to get a guy like Gonzalez for cheap. 2 years at less than $20m AAV is certainly affordable for the Angels. They may able to get Blackmon without giving up Heaney, but certainly not a guy like CarGo. And to think Heaney's value is worth Arenado?

The chances the Angels land someone like Cargo are remote. Absolutely no prospect depth that would appeal to the Rockies or any team. One of the worst farms in baseball.

Batman, don't you know, everyone wants the sloppy seconds from the Angels for major players?

Clearly every team is knocking down the door to get guys like Kyle Kubitza and Kaleb Cowart.
