Braves get 2B Baez and 3B Olt

Atlanta sends Justin Upton and Evan Gattis to Oakland for Jeff Samardzija and Josh Reddick
1.) That would be an impact arm the Braves are looking for, however, I don't see them trading for another 1 year contract. they want young controllable arms
2.) They could always throw in Mike Minor instead of Gattis. And the A's could throw in a low level outfield prospect. And I only say that because of the season Reddick just had vs the season Upton had.
Throw in Bogarts or a top prospect and you'd probably have a deal. Phillies are looking to shed the old players with big money (i.e Hamels, Howard, Lee, Utley, Rollins who is already gone). If they could shed that $150M of payroll, they definitely would.
Braves don't need a catcher and want more starting pitching. They're looking for Major League ready pitching. Not could-be prospects.
