Padres offseason:

Trade Anderson Espanoza to the Red Sox for $1

Trade Cozart, Naylor, Capps to the Marlins for $1

Trade Johnson, Tatis Jr. to the White Sox for $1

They should not be able to keep what they cheated other teams out of.

They should also trade Rea to the Marlins for $1 as well.

They got espinosa from BOS for Pomeranz. None of the rest make sense. They didn't cheat. They got pieces they wanted for other teams needs.

I mean they didn't disclose injury info in all of the trades they have made. Especially in the Marlins trade, they got Cashner who was having an ok year but who is a free agent after this season and they got a prospect and then Rea who's injury caused the Marlins to return him to the Padres for only one of their highly touted prospects but the Padres got to keep the others as well as the other players acquired in the deal.

Actually Collin Rea is another reason he got suspended IMO. First start with Miami he tears the ligament in his elbow and needs TJ surgery. I remember hearing Rea said his elbow bothered him before the trade and that he had mentioned it to the team.

1st, funny thing about the cashner/ rea trade. one of the guys they got back is hurt and out for the season with tj surgery. For pomeranz its funny because he is still pitching isn't he?
