Mets trade: Plawecki, Desmond Lindsay, Akeel Morris, Ivan Wilson, Rafael Montero
Rays trade: Boxberger
I'm not sure if this is enough but rays get future catcher, 2 potential 5 tool OFs, future closer, and Montero who allows them to trade one or more of their current starters
Mets get a really good set up/ closer guy and the guys they're giving up really wouldn't help them this year compared to box.

I think it is too much going to tampa for just a reliever. this makes some sense, but it is an overpay.

How valuable do you think closers are? Yikes.

Too much. And they aren't trading Plawekie since they DFAd Recker and Non-Tendered Monel so they have no real other option behind him to back up the oft-injured D'nard.

Too much for a RP.

Too much for Boxberger. He's a good reliever but Mets don't need to give that much.

I was just using the Giles trade as a template boxberger is a year older and has one fewer year of control. I feel Lindsay, Morris, Wilson and another would be enough and fair.

Its a little bit too much for Boxberger, he's not Chapman or Kimbrel.

Maybe for Boxberger and McGee.
