Barns would be a better target than Ellis, he is younger and cheaper. And the Rays also now have Conger who I forgot about so he will start as of now (barring any trades) and then Barns, Casali and Rivera will battle for the backup role and I say if barns doesn't make it he goes to AAA and same with Casali but if rivara does t make it i say trade him while you can.

Yes. Catcher is a place that needs an upgrade. But parting with a player of Snell's capability would hurt the franchise. Trade Casali, Faria, and a couple other prospects for Lucroy and it's fine, but don't trade an up and coming player.
