Brewers move Villar to 3b bring up Arcia to play SS Profar at 2b and Gallo to LF nice core of youngsters to build around.

scb

1.) 17 jun 2016 13:50:16
wtf how is profar and gallo on the brewers?

2.) 17 Jun 2016 14:58:26
^^^Check the series of posts scb made.

3.) 17 Jun 2016 15:06:12
I like the Gallo + Tate for Lucroy trade.

Profar isn't that great. HIs good numbers this year are thanks to an unsustainable BABIP.

Besides, just using Villar at 2B, Arcia at SS, Gallo at 3B, and then relying on their prospects to man OF will make them a really freaking good team.

4.) 17 Jun 2016 15:43:18
The Brewers would be crazy not to deal Braun, Lucroy and others to get what they can.

5.) 17 Jun 2016 16:35:14
The reason I think Villar at 3b is utilizing his arm and that Profar/ Gannett would be more serviceable than Gallo at 3b (see the nightmares of Braun at 3b all over again) keep Gallo in the OF.

6.) 17 Jun 2016 16:51:04
Profar/ Gannett at 2b is more serviceable than Gallo at 3b is what I meant.

7.) 17 Jun 2016 19:00:39
Given your scenario. Better yet, leave Villar at 3B, move Gallo to 1B, and trade Chris Carter to an AL team that needs some offense.

8.) 17 Jun 2016 19:48:54
I actually thought that also with his size but Gallo has a cannon for an arm so you have to use it.

9.) 17 Jun 2016 19:54:47
By the time Gallo and crew are ready to start regularly, Carter will be gone.

Cleveland gets: Braun and cash
Brewers get: Brady Aikens and Yandy Diaz.

scb

1.) 17 Jun 2016 14:58:48
Cleveland won't take Braun. It's not their M. O.

2.) 17 Jun 2016 15:44:50
I tend to agree with that, but Cleveland may also think the AL could be theirs for the taking. If they could make a move like this, make a few more tweaks, and get Brantley back, Cleveland could be this year's Mets or Royals.

3.) 17 Jun 2016 16:45:30
I do agree also but like it was stated the division is theirs for the taking and I think now is the time to go for it for them.

4.) 17 Jun 2016 19:55:35
If they take Braun, Milwaukee will have to eat a lot of salary, and then they'll want more in return, which Cleveland would be silly to do.

I just don't see it as a great fit.

Brewers get: Gallo, Tate and Profar
Rangers get: Lucroy, Garza and Boyer.

scb

1.) 17 Jun 2016 11:03:10
Maybe substitute Will Smith or Jeffries in place of Boyer.

2.) 17 Jun 2016 15:45:27
Maybe. Texas would really like to get a Series title, and this move could help in that regard.

3.) 17 Jun 2016 16:47:11
Those trades would also give the Brewers so promising young arms.

Mommy would hang up real fast

2.) 21 Jul 2015 13:08:39
As I look at the rest of the post, everyone but the Brewers say no. You have the Brewersame getting top prospects and good young players left and right, when really the only guy on your team worth a top prospect is Gomez (maybe Lind), and even there you go overboard demanding Buxton and Sano who are about as close to untouchable as a player can be

3.) 21 Jul 2015 13:29:32
scb, huh?

Does it stand for Seriously Consider Badminton?

4.) 21 Jul 2015 13:57:30
Devon Travis will stay with Toronto

5.) 21 Jul 2015 14:10:14
Mommy? I'm pretty sure I typed Twins

6.) 21 Jul 2015 14:26:33
Once T.O stops laughing they hang up the phone

7.) 21 Jul 2015 15:55:49
The Pittsburg trade is highly unlikely to happen. I can't see the Pirates trading good prospects in the division. And that last trade is just hilarious. Buxton and Sano traded to the Brewers for Gomez, Garza and two others. Really? IF the two of the top prospects in all of baseball are traded, it is going to take A LOT more than that.

8.) 21 Jul 2015 18:31:31
This is the 2nd time in a week you have posted a trade with Buxton and Sano going to the Brewers. It wasn't good the first time and might be worse the 2nd time. Minnesota is not trading Sano or Buxton.

Once again, your offer is not good enough to get one of those guys from Minnesota, let alone both.

9.) 21 Jul 2015 21:18:37
Plus, Josh Bell is the face of the franchise in a few years and Glasnow is their best prospect and a top twenty MLB prospect

10.) 21 Jul 2015 21:45:49
the twins would not even accept one of buxton/sano for those guys

16 Jul 2015 20:20:27
Minnesota trade-
M.Sano
B.Buxton

Brewers trade-
C.Gomez
A.Lind
J.Jeffress
K.Lohse

scb

1.) 16 Jul 2015 22:13:38
Minnesota needs to sweeten the pot a little more.

2.) 16 Jul 2015 23:20:51
Really? Twins pass

3.) 17 Jul 2015 03:42:06
Wow this awful.

4.) 17 Jul 2015 14:15:52
Wait, Marblehds, you actually think Minnesota needs to add more?

This package couldn't get one of those guys from Minnesota, let alone both.

5.) 17 Jul 2015 14:50:12
Marblehds, you do realize that Sano and Buxton are two of the top prospects in all of baseball right? If anything the Brewers would need to add more to even entice the Twins into trading them.

6.) 17 Jul 2015 16:10:22
Hell no.

7.) 17 Jul 2015 22:33:58
the twins don't need to add more to that trade and the twins would never even respond to that trade. Its terrible

Brewers - Tate and Aikens would be nice pieces to the rotation mixed in with the young pitchers they have.
